This scheme is now functioning as a primary care "spoke" within the city's health and community infrastructure, with several thousand local people registered with a family doctor (GP) based within the facility.

The centre provides accommodation for:

• GPs
• A range of therapy services
• Seven modern and fully accessible consulting rooms and two treatment rooms for both doctor and nursing consultations and treatments
• Training facilities for medical student undergraduates on placement from HYMS
